Hello Everyone!
Starting this week, office hours will be held in Wimba, instead of Second Life. Wimba doesn't give you the whole 3-D experience that Second Life does, but I can keep it private and it's available free for all students.

Just to let you all know, I'm still working on the client and server downloads. Unlike VMWare, VirtualBox separates the images in a weird way, and place them in weird locations. I may write up directions on where to place the images, and which images, once I get a better idea on how it works in general. |

Hello all!
I will be out of town this weekend because of a family emergency, so my class will have a substitute teacher. She will go over the last three chapters in lecture, and leave you to go through the exercises that you would like to participate in at the end of class. She will also provide you with your books. If you are not taking the second half of the semester, then please do not accept a book.
If you have any questions regarding the topics being covered, post them in the forum, and I will get you an answer.

Next week is the last time we will meet. Here are some questions that have been pending:
1. Level 2 Linux class is now live in the Catalog, so feel free to register! The instructor is yet to be officially assigned, but I can guarantee that he will be phenomenal.
2. The Linux Level 1 final will be online by next week. Expect to see it live by Friday. You have one week to complete the final (so that I can turn in your grades), and it will be in the same format as the mid term.
